Lund Recycling Depot Service Updates Due to Lund Community Centre Construction
Lund, B.C. — The qathet Regional District (qRD) is notifying Lund Recycling Depot users of upcoming changes and possible service interruptions due to the ongoing construction of the Lund Community Centre.
From now until late March, Depot closures and potential service level disruptions may be required to ensure site grading can occur.
As the construction on the site progresses and the grading of the parking lot begins, the Lund Recycling Depot will be moving to a temporary location at the southern side of the site. Once the grading has been completed, staff will evaluate the location of the Lund Recycling Depot and will work with the contractors to determine the Depot’s temporary home on site until the new, permanent Lund Recycling Depot is built.
Staff will continue to share service updates with as much notice as possible via the qathet Regional District Facebook page, qathet.ca, and with our project partner, the Lund Community Society.
We appreciate the community’s understanding and patience, and apologize for any inconvenience caused.
