Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 464(3) and 467 of the Local Government Act that the Board of the qathet Regional District will consider first reading of Nootka Street Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 321.2, 2025 at their Regional Board Meeting on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at 4:00 pm.
The meeting will be held in the Regional District Boardroom, 201 – 4675 Marine Avenue, Powell River. Please email administration@qathet.ca if you wish to attend over Zoom. A livestream of the meeting can be viewed at https://qathetrd.civicweb.net/Portal/Video.aspx.
The purpose of the proposed bylaw amendment is to rezone the property located at 7-3965 Yaroshuk Rd to permit an existing accessory dwelling unit that measures 1,200 square feet (111.5 square metres). The proposed bylaw and relevant information are available for inspection on this webpage through the links below, by email request to planning@qathet.ca, or in-person at our main office (202-4675 Marine Avenue, Powell River), between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday, excluding statutory holidays.
