The Powell River Regional Cemetery is known locally as the Cranberry Cemetery due to its location on the corner of Cranberry Street and Crown Avenue in the City of Powell River’s Cranberry neighbourhood.

To access the cemetery from the Westview Ferry Terminal, turn left on Marine Avenue as you come off the ferry, follow Marine Avenue through the downtown core then turn right on Alberni Street at the stop light. Take Alberni to Joyce Avenue (next light). Turn left on Joyce Avenue and follow it until it dead-ends on Manson Avenue and turn left. Follow Manson until it dead-ends on Cranberry Street and turn left. Take Cranberry until you reach Crown Avenue and turn right. The cemetery will be on your left. Parking for the cemetery is along Crown Avenue.
The Powell River Regional Cemetery offers full casket burials, cremation lots and niches, and full mausoleum crypts. Also available at this cemetery are green burial options.
While families are welcome to adorn grave sites with flowers and other small decorative items, no other improvements are permitted on grave sites or other cemetery facilities. Items left at grave sites will be removed by regional district staff when they become unsightly. No artificial flowers are allowed between March 15th and October 31st.
The cemetery grounds are open to visitors during daylight hours. Staff are normally available on-site to assist with visitor’s needs between the hours of 7:30am and 4:00pm, Monday to Friday.
