Texada Island Resilient Community Evacuation Workshop and Community Emergency Preparedness Fair in partnership with Texada Emergency Services

April 14 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm

Free! Hands-on emergency evacuation planning experience with mapping and evacuation route scenarios, interactive demonstrations within the Evacuation Supply Container and practical emergency preparedness information.

 

Designed for community members, organizations, and first responders.
Presentations and activities for the whole family.
Light lunch and refreshments provided.

 

Representatives from Gillies Bay Volunteer Fire Department, Van Anda Volunteer Fire Department, FireSmart, BC Ambulance Service, Powell River Search and Rescue, qathet Regional Emergency Preparedness Program and Emergency Communications Unit, Red Cross, BC Wildfire Service, and RCMP.
