Write a Letter to the Board of Directors or Regional Hospital District Board of Directors

The Regional Board and Regional Hospital District Board accept letters from members of the public regarding services within the jurisdiction of each body. The management of correspondence is dictated in our Board Procedure Bylaw, and in the Public Communications and Engagement Policy, and ensures an equitable, and consistent approach to addressing public correspondence.

 

The qathet Regional Hospital District (qRHD) includes the boundaries of the qathet Regional District and Tla’amin Nation and its Board members include the Board members of the Regional District and members from the Tla’amin Nation. If you wish to submit written correspondence to the Board of Directors, to appear on a public agenda, it must:

 

  • Be addressed to the “The qRD Board”, “Chair and Board”, “Regional Hospital Board”, or “Board of Directors”.

If you wish to send written correspondence to one Director, please contact the representatives directly.

 

Correspondence may be received via email, fax, or via mail to the address listed below.

 

PLEASE NOTE: At this time, the qathet Regional District does not provide confirmation of receipt of correspondence, and will only contact authors should clarification be needed regarding the contents of their submission.

Deadline for Receipt of Written Correspondence

The Corporate Officer must receive the correspondence no later than nine days preceding a standing Meeting for the correspondence to be included on the upcoming meeting Agenda. Correspondence received after that date will be included on the next available and applicable Agenda. Correspondence will only appear on one Agenda at a time.

 

Notice of Disclosure of Personal Information

All submissions may form part of the public record. Your correspondence, with your name and address may appear on the Agenda under the correspondence section. Personal phone numbers and email addresses will be redacted, as well as any additional identifying information or information requested by the author.

 

In accordance with section 21 of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, the qathet Regional District may collect, and disclose personal information.
